cross country

 In cross country I ran half of the field. Then I ran up the hill and back down. I was tired but i tried my best. I ran as fast as I could. Then I came third place and I was happy.

Film

 In Te Maunga we have been learning about films. My group's film was about the jungle. We used a bucket and splashed some water in the bucket. It made a waterfall sound. Then we broke some sticks and it sounded like someone was stepping on sticks.

maths week

In Te Maunga we have been doing maths week. Last Friday we were having a challenge about how many balloons are there was in the car. I said there was 75 balloons in the car but there were 116 balloons one of the Te Maunga kids got 116.

Fungi, Bacteria and Viruses

In Te Maunga we were learning about Covid-19. Viruses can spread. Bacteria turns milk into yoghurt. Fungi can be used to make bread.

Water Cycle

In Te Maunga we did art about the water cycle and it was fun. We drew with pencil first but we had to press lightly on the paper because you can't rub it out. We drew the sun bring little bits of water from the creeks to forming a cloud, then we drew a Maunga with a creek and it repeats.
